Alexandra Hoadley is a second year Geography and English student at the University of Exeter. She has previously worked on the St Piran Project, where her jobs included setting up meetings, conducting interviews, writing reports and helping the team develop their vision. She is currently working on the Smart Tenants and Living Well for Work projects. Her tasks include writing literature reviews, conducting interviews, creating infographics and co-creating university-led workshops.

Jennifer Land is a second year Geography student at the University of Exeter.  She is working as a student intern for Volunteers in Communities, with a focus on innovative ways to improve community driving, through developing a smart phone application and the LifeCycle project.

Megan Allingham is a second year Geography student at the University of Exeter. She is working as a student intern on the Smart Tenants and Living Well for Work projects. Her current work includes literature reviews focusing on Smart Technologies and Community Transport, conducting in-depth interviews and ArcGIS mapping.

 Calum is a Geography Masters student at the University of Exeter. He is working on innovative ways of reducing pollution and litter in Helston and the Loe Pool area. In his free time, Calum also enjoys paddling around the coast in a kayak.

Cristina Yuan is a first year Business student at the University of Exeter. She is currently working for Volunteers in Communities as a Student Intern, with a focus on the social media and marketing aspect of the project. Her contribution to the team will be that of managing the website and targeting specific demographics through social media to increment the outreach of the projects and increase brand awareness.

Christopher Thurston is a second year environmental science student at the University of Exeter. He is currently working as a student intern for Volunteers in Communities and is working with Positive Focus UK on a project that provides photography workshops for military and emergency service personnel who are suffering from mental health issues as a result of their experiences.

Imogen O’Keefe is a second year Environmental Science student at the University of Exeter. She is currently working towards creating an easy-to-use map of cycling routes for the Penryn, Falmouth and Truro area which will eventually provide cyclists with detailed information on the majority of routes in the area and make them safer to use.

Isabelle Baker is a second year Geography student at the University of Exeter. She is working for Volunteers in Communities as a student intern on the Loe Pool Forum Project. Isabelle’s main role is to contact organisations for items, such as water saving devices, to hand out at public engagement events.

In his role, Jack will be working with Loe Pool Forum in Helston, engaging the community with projects related to reducing pollution and improving water quality.

She is currently working on her dissertation identifying the barriers and opportunities to delivering coproduction in the healthcare sector, based on data collected from the Living Well evaluation. Beth is writing blogs about the Volunteers in Communities project, coproduction, volunteering, and healthcare delivery, as well as her dissertation findings.

Alex

Alexandra Robinson is a third year Geography student at the University of Exeter. She is currently working on her dissertation which investigates the causes and impacts of isolation and loneliness within the elderly community of East Lancashire.Data for this is collected from a range of interviews with operatives and representatives of Age UK and a number of service users. Alex is currently working on reports on recommendations for community engagement within all areas of Cornwall.

Max is a third year Geography student at the University of Exeter. He is currently writing his dissertation on sustainable development. Alongside his studies he is working for Volunteers in Communities in the role of head of media and communications. He is experienced within this sector previously building and managing websites, and producing film trailers and music videos.
